       The Special Resin SHR is a high-temperature stable & salt resistant drilling fluid loss control agent. It is a copolymer of the humic acid modified by graft , polycondensation and other chemical processing. The product appearance is the dark-brown powder . SHR is suitable for fresh water muds and salt water muds containning  NaCl  of 3~15% .(A further modifing  product ,SHR-2,is  suitible  for saturated salt muds). The drilling muds treated with SHR have excellent properties for salt-resistant, high-temperature-resistant and water loss control. SHR makes the muds have stable rheological property and lower  HTHP filtration. So ,it has been widely used in many types of mud system for deep and super deep well drilling on land & offshore. The PH value of  muds  treated with  SHR  must be adjusted to 9~10 when using under high salt conditions.

treatment 

1. Normal treatment in fresh water muds as a thinner is about 1%;
2. As a stabilizer for muds at high temperature:          3%;
