Features&uses

    The non - infiltration drilling fluid is prepared by adding the filtrate reducer,WST-100, into conventional drilling fluid (water-base or oil - base). WST-100 in drilling fluid can gather to form deformable flexibility glues and proceed to form a compact strong membrane at the pore throat as well as the filtrate invasion into the formation. The membrane can effectively prevent the further filtrate and/or solid invasion, thus, the borehole stability and formation damage control are achieved.

Recommended Treatment

1.The product, WST-100, is often directly mixed and even dispersed into the drilling mud with stirring. Besides 5 to 10 times weight (based on the weight of WST-100) of water and proper amount of NaOH solution may be added. The PH value may be maintained between 10 to 11.
2.The concentration of WST-100 in water base drilling fluid is about 0.5~1.8% (m/v), but for highly permeable or fractured formation, 1.2%(m/v) or above is preferred.
